Meet Ugandan Family Of Six With 6 Fingers And Toes(Photos)

 

The family born with unusual fingers deformity have stunned people, all siblings composed the family are confident and claim they have accepted themselves despite the challenges.

 

 

 Deforming the bone or joints, or as a result of imbalance of different groups of muscles cause by nerve dysfunction, or due to congenital defects. Bony deformities are due to fractures of bones that have healed in a crooked or displaced position.

 

 

These three brothers were born with a similar condition that has affected their lives in almost every factor.

 

 

Alex Muhasya, has born with more fingers and toes than the regular norm people know, his fingers are six in number and toes as well.

 

 

“As you can see every hand of mine has 6 fingers and my feet has also six toes, so all of them in numbers, I mean fingers and toes they are 24 in total.”

 

 

Muhasya said that it made him feel embarrassed seeing other having 10 fingers that he even wanted to remove the extra finger and toe but his mother warned him to never do so.

 

 

“I asked my mom, can we cut them? She said never! We asked why?

 

 

“Because there is the one of us who cut them and then died,” he said.

 

 

However, Muhasya and his elder siblings share the same problem of deformity on their both hands and feet as well.

 

 

The bullies never let him take some air as he says, which made him meditate on his condition more often and it affected his studies and he started to omit and isolate himself from others.

 

 

“After going to school my classmates were shocked and would tell me to go home remove the extra fingers in order for me to be like them, but my teacher warned me to never give it a try,” he said.

 

 

As he grew old Muhasya, also grew confident and wanted to start a family of his own despite the family challenges.

 

 

“I met someone who honored God, the first girl I talked to was a Christian, and she would always comfort me saying that being like this means I have something special within me. It motivated me so I kept chasing her.” Said Muhasya joyfully.

 

 

Finally, Muhasya got married to that lady, he is a father of two sons now. But later he brought in another woman and the other left right away, he however planning on bringing her back because he still loves her and would love to care the two of them.

 

 

Festus 38, an elder brother of Muhasya was also born with this kind of deformity he also confesses that a lady was happy with his fingers and they have been married for four years despite his challenges and poverty in addition.

 

 

Mwololo Ndamke 48, is the elder brother, he said that he could not help it at first but to approach his father and ask him what was the cause to their fingers deformity in spite of their father who had normal five fingers.

 

 

“I approached my Dad before he died and asked why he had five fingers yet I had six, and as a father he explained how we’re both normal, from that day and onwards, I started believing in myself,” he said.
